Cornerstone, Homestead, Savanna, Cityscape and later phases of Redstone and Skyview Ranch all have active builders. Cornerstone and Homestead currently have the widest range of single-family lots; the communities nearer Saddletowne station skew toward townhomes and condos.
The Blue Line ends at Saddletowne station. Communities north of it, such as Cornerstone and Homestead, are served by bus routes that connect to the station. Check Calgary Transit for the current route map before assuming a rail commute.
Land costs and lot sizes in the Northeast have historically been lower than in the other quadrants, and builders release more laned, duplex and townhome product there. The trade-offs buyers weigh are airport noise in some areas, distance from the mountains and the maturity of nearby amenities.
