FAQ
Questions about SE Calgary new communities
Mahogany has consistently been among the top-selling communities in Calgary since it opened, driven by its lake, beach club and Westman Village. Seton is the other anchor, with South Health Campus, the YMCA and the largest retail district in the far south-east. Rangeview and Hotchkiss are the newest growth areas.
The Green Line is planned to run into the south-east in stages. The first stage does not reach Seton or Mahogany, and station timing for the far south-east has changed several times. Do not price a Green Line station into a purchase decision until the City of Calgary confirms construction of that segment.
Yes. Mahogany and Auburn Bay each have a residents association or homeowners association fee that funds the lake, beach and amenity buildings. The fee is registered on title, so ask the builder for the current amount and the association's bylaws before you sign.
