Profile
About Cranston
Cranston is an established Brookfield Residential community in south-east Calgary, on the plateau above the Bow River valley and immediately north of Seton. It was developed from 2000 onward and, apart from the Riverstone phase below it, is fully built out.
Its amenity package is one of the strongest in the south-east. Century Hall is a private residents association facility with a splash park, skating in season and year-round programming. Schools are open at multiple levels, Cranston Market provides daily retail, and South Health Campus and the Seton district are minutes away.
For a new build buyer, Cranston is the finished benchmark that Rangeview, Hotchkiss and Logan Landing are measured against. New construction is limited to the Riverstone estate and villa phase and occasional infill.
Commute note: Approximate drive to downtown Calgary via Deerfoot Trail or Stoney Trail. Off-peak roughly 26 minutes, peak roughly 33 minutes.

Questions about Cranston
The annual fee funds Century Hall and its programming, including the splash park and the seasonal skating surface, and it applies to Cranston and Riverstone alike. It is registered on title and transfers with the property. Ask the association for the current amount and what it includes.
Cranston itself is built out. Remaining new construction is in the Riverstone phase in the river valley below, which carries estate and villa product at a higher price point. Buyers wanting new construction at Cranston prices generally look at Rangeview, Hotchkiss or Logan Landing.
