Profile
About Savanna
Savanna is a Genesis Land Development community in the Saddle Ridge area of Northeast Calgary, north of 88 Avenue NE and close to the established Saddlestone and Saddle Ridge neighbourhoods. Its main advantage over the newer far-northeast communities is proximity to amenities that already exist.
The Genesis Centre, the Saddletowne CTrain station and the retail around Saddletowne Circle are all within a short drive, and in parts of the community within a walk or short bus ride. Product is a mix of townhomes, duplexes and single-family homes, with multi-family concentrated closer to the transit corridor.
Savanna is later in its build-out than Cornerstone or Homestead, so lot choice is narrower and remaining releases are often multi-family. It suits buyers who weigh transit access and existing amenities above lot selection.
Commute note: Approximate drive to downtown Calgary via Metis Trail and Deerfoot Trail, or Blue Line CTrain from Saddletowne. Off-peak roughly 23 minutes, peak roughly 30 minutes.
