About Cobblestone Creek

Cobblestone Creek is a newer community in south-west Airdrie, west of 8 Street SW and close to Yankee Valley Boulevard. Several Calgary volume builders are active, offering laned and front-drive homes at price points that are typically below comparable product inside Calgary.

Buyers trade a longer commute on Highway 2 for more house per dollar and a smaller-city setting. Airdrie's own schools, recreation and retail are well developed, but on-site amenities in Cobblestone Creek are still building out.

Highlights

  • Multiple builders and product types.
  • Airdrie pricing relative to Calgary.
  • Established Airdrie amenities minutes away.

Considerations

  • Highway 2 commute to Calgary.
  • On-site schools and retail still developing.

Fit

Who Cobblestone Creek suits

A good fit if

  • Buyers priced out of comparable Calgary product who will accept the Airdrie commute.
  • First-time buyers looking at paired and laned product with front-porch streetscapes.
  • Families who want an Airdrie school division and small-city services.

Look elsewhere if

  • If the Calgary commute is the problem, look at the north Calgary corridor communities instead.
  • If you want a larger Airdrie master plan with more amenities, Chinook Gate is the comparison.
